A note on tradition
What's now Silverton Pride grew out of something simple: community members choosing to show up in the same space, share food, and find each other. The gathering has been known as both the Rainbow Family Lunch and the Silverton Pride Family Picnic: no stage, no sponsors, just people.
Today, that spirit is still at the heart of every Pride celebration. So pack a lunch, spread out a blanket, and carry the tradition forward.

A longtime member of Silverton's downtown business community, he brings deep roots and a commitment to transparent, community-driven leadership to everything he does.
